Globetrotting

Scotland, Spain, America.

The three countries where games caught our eye today.

East Fife’s season just won’t seem to end and another lacklustre display has now left them facing the ignomany of a 7th place finish. Where did all the good times go?

Well they’re certainly around in Barcelona as the stylish Barca destroyed Real Madrid who made the mistake of annoying them by taking the lead. You really don’t want to do that at the moment.

The game was a joy to behold and showed what a confident team can do when in full flow.

In Minnesota, the Whitecaps continued their winning streak with a fine 3-2 victory and Marlon James hitting a great hat-trick on his first start for Vancouver.

At least with East Fife’s game starting so early, you know the day can only start to get better.
