Festive Fun: MLS Team Anagrams

Christmas is fast approaching and we’re in a merry mood here at AFTN, so much so that we’re going to bring you some Whitecaps and MLS related Festive Fun from now until Christmas Day itself.

Everyone has their own personal and family Christmas traditions. When I was a lad, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without some fun and games. Puzzle books in my stocking, playing board games with the family. Lots of happy memories.

So we’re starting a new AFTN Christmas tradition this year and bringing you our first puzzle collection. A ‘Caps compendium of games if you like.

We’ll have a mix of different kind of puzzles and games to play up till Christmas. All of them will have a Whitecaps and/or MLS bent. We’ll have a mix of anagrams, crosswords, word searches, and a lot more. But it won’t just be puzzles we feature in this month’s festive fun segment, we’ll have some other football related Christmas surprises for you along the way.

So grab your favourite ugly Christmas sweater, make yourself an eggnog latte, grab a chocolate digestive, and put your feet up for some Festive Fun puzzleheads.

We’re kicking things off today with MLS Team Anagrams.

We’ve rearranged all 22 current MLS teams, some very aptly. Only Toronto, NYC, and Dallas have the ‘F.C.’ parts of their name used and team names are spelt out in full (ie: Los Angeles, not L.A.). How quickly can you unscramble them? If you get stuck, the answers are at the end, Get puzzling!
