There’s Still (Extra) Time – Episode 38 [Staying Safe, Staying Home with Whitecaps CEO Mark Pannes and CMO Dr Jim Bovard]
The latest episode of “There’s Still Extra Time”, AFTN’s subscription podcast is out and it’s a 45 minute one looking at how Vancouver Whitecaps are dealing with their players and other staff members during the current pandemic.
The club held a video conference call on March 24th with Whitecaps Chief Executive Officer Mark Pannes and Chief Medical Officer Dr Jim Bovard to look at how the club is dealing with the current crisis and the unique issues that it produces for a business, especially a sporting one.
We find out about the club’s daily routine, how the players are keeping both safe and fit during this time, how the club is looking after it’s front office staff, how the league are handling things with their 26 teams, what the future of the season could look like, season ticket monies, and more.
We’re bringing you the entire 40 minute conference call, which we hope you will find informative and enjoy, if that is the right word, but we hope you do find it interesting. I know I did.
