It’s a grueling time for Vancouver Whitecaps. Three matches in eight days, with two of them in the space of four days, all of them crucial for how the season could play out, and it’s sweltering hot outside. This will test a lot about the current ‘Caps squad.

After a gutless performance in Seattle, and a battling midweek one against Montreal to reach the Canadian Championship final, which Whitecaps team will we see turn up to take on an in-form Minnesota United side this weekend?

Will there be more rotation to rest some guys up, or does Robbo ride a clean sheet and a good performance on Wednesday night with an almost same starting XI? Was that win against Montreal a blip or a turning point? How can the struggling Whitecaps defence cope with the huge danger posed by Minnesota’s Darwin Quintero (9 goals and 6 assists), Christian Ramirez (7 goals and 2 assists), and Miguel Ibarra (6 goals and 6 assists)?
