There’s Still (Extra) Time – Episode 34 [Safe Sport For All]
The latest episode of “There’s Still Extra Time”, AFTN’s subscription podcast is out. Our last of 2019 and of the decade. Here’s to many more to come in the 2020s.
This 21 minute episode isn’t exactly a fun way to end the year but covers a subject that we wanted to delve into a little – the pre-Christmas release of the independent review conducted by the Sport Law & Strategy Group of Vancouver Whitecaps’ past and current safe sport policies and procedures, and the actions taken by the ‘Caps in response to incidents that occurred in 2008 in the women’s team and in two other historical matters concerning the academy.
