Episode 155 – The AFTN Podcast – “There’s Still Time” (Texas Toast – Vancouver v Dallas postgame show featuring Robinson, Pareja, Akindele, Rosales and Zimmerman)
They may have had some luck, poor finishing by their opponents and an inspired David Ousted along the way, but Vancouver Whitecaps got back on the horse again on Saturday night with a 3-0 win over MLS leaders FC Dallas.
We look back over the win, the standouts, the key moments and what it might mean for the Whitecaps going forward, now that they’ve broken their three game winless streak and scored their first open play goal of the season.
We hear from both head coaches, Vancouver’s Carl Robinson and Dallas’ Oscar Pareja, and visit the visitors’ locker room to hear from Canadian striker Tesho Akindele, defender Walker Zimmerman and former Whitecap Mauro Rosales.
And there’s still time to look ahead to Wednesday Western Conference clash at home to Sporting KC. What changes will Robbo make for that one?
