Episode 242 – The AFTN Soccer Show (Sliding Into Our DMs with guests Efrain Juarez and David Norman Jr)
Vancouver Whitecaps may be soaking up the sun in Waikiki for 11 days and three preseason matches, but we don’t want to miss out, so we’re going to have a bit of a Hawaiian theme throughout this week’s show.
We look at all the big talking points from this past week in Whitecapsland and the world of Major League Soccer, and we sit down for a chat with two of the Whitecaps’ defensive midfielders, Efrain Juarez and David Norman Jr.
We have a fascinating chat with Juarez about his career in the game so far, covering his time in Mexico, Scotland, Spain, and at World Cups, plus what’s still motivating him and what’s brought him to Vancouver and MLS. Norman is another new face on the ‘Caps MLS roster, but he’s been at the club for so many years, it doesn’t feel that way, as tries to make the breakthrough at this next level.
And there’s still time for Stefan Marinovic to talk Take Out Food, play some trivia, look at some other football news from around world, play some Morrissey in our Wavelength section, and does David Edgar fancy a chocolate digestive?
