Episode 452 – The AFTN Soccer Show (Overwhelmed and Underwhelming)
The latest AFTN Soccer Show is out for another packed show of Vancouver Whitecaps and MLS.
What a difference a week makes. We were all feeling quite optimistic about the Whitecaps last weekend, but two straight defeats has quickly taken the wind out of our sails a little bit, but is it really all doom and gloom?
We look back at the ‘Caps defeat in Kansas City on Sunday afternoon, and try and work out not so much what went wrong, as that was painfully obvious, but how on earth they can go about fixing it. Plus we hear from both head coaches, Vancouver’s Marc Dos Santos and KC’s Paddington Bear-esque Peter Vermes, and look ahead to Vancouver next match against Houston.
