There’s Still (Extra) Time – Episode 62 [Celebrate Gold Times]

The latest AFTN Extra podcast is out! Episode 62 is a half hour episode looking at the Canadian women’s national team’s return to BC this weekend and their latest Hall of Fame additions.

It’s going to be a weekend of celebration in the two games against Nigeria in Vancouver on Friday and Langford on Monday. Fans can congratulate and celebrate the Olympic gold medal win, Christine Sinclair’s record breaking goal, and the retirement of Stephanie Labbe.

Plus there’s two new additions to the Canadian Soccer Hall of Fame on the women’s side – Rhian Wilkinson and Martina Franko. We chat about both and hear some thoughts from both of them about their inductions and the state of the women’s game in Canada and around the world at the moment.

All subscribers should have the download link in their emails. If you don’t let me know as there were some issues with Outlook deleting our distribution list after and update.
