There’s Still (Extra) Time – Episode 88 [Travels Near and Far]

We’re back with another AFTN Extra podcast for your listening pleasure.

Episode 88 is a 59 minute show talking Whitecaps Girls Elite, Vancouver FC, and Pacific FC.

We look at the Whitecaps’ Girls successful League1 Canada title defence and ahead to this week’s big CONCACAF Women’s Champions Cup game in El Salvador against Alianza, with audio from head coach Katie Collar and star midfielder Jeneva Hernandez Gray.

We also look back at last weekend’s latest BC derby in the CPL between Vancouver and Pacific, the blockbusting trade that is lined up between the two sides, and hear from Pacific’s James Merriman and Thomas Meilleur-Giguère about where it’s going wrong for the islanders and what they need to do to get back into the playoff places and prepare for the Whitecaps, and VFC’s victorious Afshin Ghotbi and Wero Diaz.
