The AFTN travelling roadshow has hit Newport and the Vale of Glamorgan as we follow Vancouver Whitecaps preseason preparations in Wales.

With the first game of the trip in the history books, an unfortunate 1-0 loss to Cardiff City U23s, we bring you the first of our (mini) podcasts of the preseason.

We chat with ‘Caps coach Carl Robinson about the match and some of the talking points from the preseason so far, and we catch up with two players that returned to the pitch after long term injuries, winger Kekuta Manneh and defender Christian Dean.
