Episode 261 – The AFTN Soccer Show (Hit For Six – VWFC v SKC, Marc Dos Santos, Whitecaps Woes)

If last week was a bad weekend for Vancouver Whitecaps, this one was far worse. Not only did they lose 6-0 in Kansas City, seven of their Western rivals picked up three points and they fell out of the promotion places when you look at points per game. Clearly not the response sought or expected after the failings in the last two matches.

We pick over carcass of that loss in KC and there’s a lot to ponder. Where did it all go wrong and where does the team go from here? Team selection, tactics, poor discipline, horrible defending, and Robbo’s postgame comments. We talk about all those things and a lot more.

Plus we have a chat with LAFC assistant coach Marc Dos Santos, see how the weekend played out for the MLS western teams, find out if the Cap killer Johnny Russell fancies a chocolate digestive, play Do You Know Who I Am? and Half Man Half Biscuit are back in our Wavelength section.
