Episode 361 – The AFTN Soccer Show (Eating Goals with Nick Rimando and Kyle Beckerman)
Happy Thanksgiving weekend everyone! You might not feel that there’s been a lot to be thankful for this season if you’re a Whitecaps fan, but at least it’s all over now, so there’s that.
The Whitecaps offseason is officially underway, and while understandably it’s not been action packed, head coach Marc Dos Santos made a lot of interesting comments this week about the way forward. We look at those and the other Whitecaps news, gossip, and general chatter of the week. Plus we start to delve into which MLS players we should maybe make a play for and who may be surplus to requirements where they currently are.
We also look ahead to the MLS playoffs that get underway on Saturday and chat with Real Salt Lake veterans Nick Rimando and Kyle Beckerman. Plus we set up Canada’s huge game with the US on Tuesday in the Nations League.
