Episode 539 – The AFTN Soccer Show (Koné > Kane)

We’re back with another packed show of Canadian soccer and World Cup chat.

The 2022 World Cup is down to four teams. We look back at an exciting weekend of quarter-final action and the main talking points coming out of the four matches, where win or lose, no-one seemed to like the referees! Plus we look ahead to this week’s semi-final action.

Turning our attention back to the domestic game, we look at rumours that Vancouver Whitecaps’ Derek Cornelius is moving to Malmo in Sweden and chat about a move that has been confirmed, CF Montreal’s Ismael Koné to English Championship side Watford, plus we hear from the man himself about his time at the World Cup in Qatar, his time at CF Montreal, the move to the Hornets, and his development with CS Saint-Laurent.

Plus Goldie Lookin’ Chain make a return to our Wavelength feature and we continue our 2022 Festive Fifteen.
