There’s Still (Extra) Time – Episode 32 [Forged In Flames – A Canadian Premier League championship game special]

It’s the time of year when all good things, and quite a few bad things, come to an end. Vancouver Whitecaps’ season is a distant memory, the MLS Cup wraps up next weekend with a horror game, and the first ever Canadian Premier League season reaches it’s climax in Calgary this Saturday with the second leg of the championship game.

The first game took place in Hamilton last Saturday and saw Forge FC take a narrow 1-0 lead over Cavalry FC to Alberta this weekend. It was a game with a lot of talking points and we chat about some of them in this episode and hear the full postgame media conferences from both head coaches, Cavalry’s Tommy Wheeldon Jr and Forge’s Bobby Smyrniotis.

We also hear post game chats from Forge’s Tristan Henry, Chris Nanco, and Kyle Bekker and Cavalry’s veteran, Nik Ledgerwood.

It’s a 53 minute episode, which we hope you will enjoy. And as always, thanks for subscribing.
