There’s Still (Extra) Time – Episode 40 [Back On The Pitch, Sort Of featuring Marc Dos Santos, Axel Schuster, and Christine Sinclair]

The latest AFTN ‘Extra’ podcast is out and Episode 40 is a 50 minute one focusing on MLS and NWSL players getting back on the training pitch and the proposed plans to have MLS return and play out of an Orlando hub.

We bring you a couple of conference calls in this episode.

First up, Whitecaps head coach Marc Dos Santos and Sporting Director Axel Schuster talk about the ‘Caps players getting back on the pitch for individual workouts, chat about those proposed MLS plans and how they feel about it, plus are they scouting any players from the leagues that have got back up and running?

Then we head over the border to Portland to hear from Christine Sinclair about her return to the pitch, her travels during the pandemic, how good it was that she broke the international goalscoring record before all of this, and how she’s feeling about it these weeks later.
