There’s Still (Extra) Time – Episode 98 (Canadian Pride with guests Mark Noonan and Gary Moody)

We’ve got another new AFTN Extra podcast for you. Episode 98 is a 49 minute one featuring two interviews for your listening pleasure.

First up is an 8 minute chat with Canada Women’s U17 interim head coach Gary Moody ahead of this week’s CONCACAF qualifiers, with the girls just three games away from the U17 World Cup in Morocco later this year. That’s an extra podcast exclusive interview.

Our second interview is one that is going to feature in the next AFTN Soccer Show proper as well, but we wanted to let our Extra subscribers hear it first, three days before it’s released to the masses. That interview is with Canadian Premier League commissioner Mark Noonan. We chat to Mark about the state of the league, expansion, broadcasting, capitalizing on next year’s World Cup, and lots more in a 25 minute interview.

We’re using a different delivery platform for the episode to try it out – TransferNow instead of WeTransfer. Very little should be different on your end hopefully. As always, this episode will be available to download for 7 days. If you haven’t downloaded it by that time, just let me know and I can set it again. Any other issues, let me know!

Not a subscriber yet or a recently lapsed one? You can read all the details about what our ‘Extra’ podcast is, how you can get it, and how we deliver it to you, HERE (we’ll do an updated version of this page soonish).
