Timewasting: MLS Team Of The Week # 37 – Aquarium XI
Vancouver Whitecaps announced a joint fundraising initiative this morning with Vancouver Aquarium to help stave off potential bankruptcy for the beloved landmark that is needing around a $1 million per month to stay afloat.
The two organizations have come together to produce high-performance athletic face masks that come in four different designs and range in price from $17.99 for the kids one to $19.99. They went on sale at 7am this morning and they’d sold nearly 8000 in the first 10 hours. You can order them HERE.
So to help promote them, we’ve gone with an appropriately themed AFTN MLS Team of the Week this time – the Aquarium XI.
For those that don’t know what this section is, we think of a subject for a football team to be based around, then usually fill it with our starting XI of current (or very recent) MLS players with some appropriate name changes, or even better, just as is! Our big difference from the original is that we actually put them in a team with a proper formation and not just a long list of random names.
Your scouting job is to come up with the subs bench, from any player from around the world, and leave your player suggestions in the comments section.
Can you add a few more?
Team Name : Atlantis United

And of course every team needs a super sub, so step forward a man that is a must have for an Aquarium XI – The Tank, Lucas Cavallini!
