WFC2 v Real Monarchs SLC – The Story In Pictures
“It’s been a long time coming”, was WFC2 head coach Alan Koch’s take on his side’s first USL home win. After a couple of close calls and late heartbreak, WFC2 finally chalked up that historic win with a 2-1 victory over Real Monarchs SLC.
Caleb Clarke and Ben McKendry gave the young ‘Caps all three points and they survived a late penalty to hold on for the win.
You can read our postgame piece HERE, with quotes from Koch, McKendry and captain for the day, Diego Rodriguez.

12 minutes later a great run, control and cut back from Victor Blasco sets up the second
And Ben McKendry slots home his first of the season for 2-0 WFC2
Much to the dismay of the corner flag – and the referee who incredibly books him!
