WFC2 v Orange Country Blues – The Story In Pictures
It was their penultimate game of their inaugural USL season and WFC2 withstood some intense pressure from the Western Conference Championship chasing Orange County Blues to come away with a 1-1 draw at Thunderbird Stadium on Sunday.
The young ‘Caps had to defend early on and ‘keeper Marco Carducci came up with a some big stops before birthday boy Tyler Rosenlund shot WFC2 into a 33rd minute lead.
Brenton Griffiths fired the OC back level six minutes into the second half, but neither team could find the breakthrough and winning goal for the rest of the game.
AFTN photographer Tom Ewasiuk was at WFC2’s draw with Orange County to capture all the action from before, during and after the game. Here’s our “Story In Pictures”, with a full Flickr slideshow at the end.
