Episode 449 – The AFTN Soccer Show (Vancouver v Montreal Preview Show with special guest Kam Habibullah)

The latest AFTN Soccer Show is out for another packed show of Vancouver Whitecaps, MLS, and Canadian football chat.

Another week, another derby for Vancouver Whitecaps. This time it’s their second Canadian one of the season, with CF Montreal heading to Sandy, Utah. What threat do the Eastern Conference side pose? Was last week’s loss to Colorado a blip or typical of what we can expect from the ‘Caps this year? When will Vancouver score a goal from open play? Can they break down a stingy Montreal defence? So many questions!

Joe and Gideon delve into all of that and a lot more, and we get the thoughts of ‘Caps coach Marc Dos Santos and Montreal’s Wilfried Nancy heading into the game.

Last game saw the debut of the Whitecaps latest homegrown signing, midfielder Kamron Habibullah. We sit down with Kam to discuss signing his first pro deal, making his debut, his journey so far, and the path ahead.

Plus there’s this week’s Over/Under and Joe continues to MLSplain the league’s finer points to his wife Caroline.
