There’s Still (Extra) Time – Episode 64 [Staying Alive]

The latest AFTN Extra podcast is out! Episode 64 is a 30 minute Vancouver Whitecaps-centric one.

The Whitecaps’ 3-0 win at home to the LA Galaxy on Wednesday night was impressive, pleasing, and infuriating as it showed what this team is capable of but unfortunately fails to show enough.

They’re fighting till the end but is it too little, too late and are they chasing a lost cause? Sadly, I’d say yes but football is a funny game and sometimes it throws up some miraculous escapes.

If they are to do it, they need to win out the rest of the regular season, and get some help along the way, starting with a win against their Cascadian rivals Seattle on Saturday.

In this episode we look at the lie of the land, the task ahead against the Sounders, the horrible recent history between the two teams, and even hear a little bit ahead of the match from Brian Schmetzer.

All subscribers should have the download link in their emails. If you don’t let me know as there were some issues with Outlook deleting our distribution list after and update.
