Episode 400 – The AFTN Soccer Show (Dressed For Success with guest Marc Dos Santos)

The latest AFTN Soccer Show is out and it’s another packed episode. The big four-oh-oh baby.

It’s never a quiet week in Vancouver Whitecapsland it seems, and this past one was no exception with the shock departure of CEO Mark Pannes. We pick over the bones of it all, discuss the less than adequate press conference to try and explain the decision, look at the supporters’ ire, and ponder what the fallout might be from it all.

Getting back to on the pitch matters, our feature interview this week is with ‘Caps head coach Marc Dos Santos. We look ahead to the Orlando tournament, how prepared the team is for it, talk about the importance of cup football, and a lot more.

All this plus all your old favourites for our quadricentennial episode as we find out if former Whitecap and current Colorado Springs Switchback head coach Alan Koch fancies a chocolate digestive, what FC Edmonton boss Jeff Paulus’ favourite jam is, kick off our new episodic drama serial Wanted For Wembley, and Booze & Glory return to this week’s Wavelength.

Here’s the rundown for the main segments from the episode:

04.01: Mark Pannes out as Whitecaps CEO
45.24: Anyone Fancy A Chocolate Digestive? – Alan Koch
47.45: Marc Dos Santos interview
94.48: Wavelength – Booze and Glory – Not On Our Way To Wembley
